I'm very happy for you Dick! This is great news. Sometimes it's funny how we can make things work out isn't it? I've been woodworking for about a year now- and I've learned some valuable life lessons from it. I've always known that having the right tool for the job sure makes things a lot easier. But I've learned that when you don't have the right tool, you'd be amazed at what gets accomplished by sheer will power, good planning, and knowledge of the capabilities of the tools you do have. Sounds like you've used this same principle to gain yourself a shop space!

      Have fun!

Dick, glad to hear that you are getting some shop space and someone to share it with. Enjoy and have fun shopping.

That IS great news, Dick -- although final_t does raise some good points for you to ponder. Before the move into its current quarters, I had basically my entire woodworking shop (everything except materials storage and the dust collector) shoehorned into a 10x19 room, so you'll have room to grow your capabilities, if you want to.

Welcome back to it Disk, I also agree with Larry, you'd be amazed what you can fit into that kind of room with some creativity.

              Dick

I was thinking this morning while riding the mower at church. You may have the start of a woodworking club at youf facility. Wonder how many others gave up a woodworking hobby to move there? Like I said yesterday have a great time shopping and setting up your new shop.
