        I have been waiting for years for the series to finish. Now, I can look forward to the boxed complete set and setting aside enough vacation to get it all in one go

            My daughters got the original couple books before they were so popular, complete with personal inscriptions from JK Rowling. I've enjoyed the lot of them. People who didn't like the movies shouldn't assume that they won't like the books. The movies are the directors' views of the books, while reading lets you develop your own views.
