Well, I made it back from my trip to China last Thursday, about 12 hours later than scheduled because Air Canada canceled my flight from Toronto to Philly, apparently due to bad thunderstorms. They added a flight the following day to get everyone home, and the whole plane was full (only 50 seats though).
It was an interesting trip, but I would not go back. I'll probably have a bit more late in the week, I expect to have an online slideshow available then.
Now for the random thought, why are people so inconsiderate? I think yesterday morning, someone making a u turn hit the front fender of my car, right near the wheelwell. Classic hit and run. I didn't notice anything until I was on the road and heard a rubbing noise when I went over some large bumps. So now, I get to pay for the repairs, since the idiot who hit me couldn't be bothered to do the right thing. I just hope it's not an expensive repair, I've had too many other expenses recently.
Then there are the people down the street who have been setting off firecrackers that have my dog scared to come out of the house. Highly illegal in NJ, and annoying to everyone else. I had to practically drag the dog out for her walk this morning. Hopefully they'll stop so I can get her back to her normal walks.
It's still great to be home.
