    Soldier does Harry Caray impression

Soldier in Iraq does a mean impression of Harry Caray - a character that Will Ferrell did on Saturday Night Live (here's an example).

Anyway, the soldier did a funny enough job that the Iraqi was laughing, although I doubt he understood anything the soldier was saying (well, he actually said, "I don't understand").

Great way to blow off some steam.

"Y'know, Steve... Dawson spelled backwards is... Noswad! Hoooooooly Cowwww! And Viszcaino spelled backwards is... Awww he11! I dunno... I can't even spell it frontwards!"

He was an American original, and his like will not be seen again.

Pretty funny, Uncle C. I had to google who Harry Caray was (everyone else was misspelling it as Harry Carey who was another actor). Never saw nor heard any of his stuff, but that Will Ferrell parody is hilarious ("If [the moon] were made of barbecued spare ribs, will you eat it then?").

Yep. There were some great characters broadcasting baseball in America. Sadly, most are gone now, and the guys today couldn't even carry Harry's jock. (Or Jack Buck's, or Phil Rizzuto's, or Dizzy Dean's, or any of a dozen others.) They brought games to life, especially on radio before television took over, and they are what made baseball "America's Game" for generations. I will never forget them.

          Well,

That's one way to win their hearts and minds.

I lean to the "Kill 'em all and let God sort it out" way of diplomacy. That's the way to do it.
