Dumpster diving wood find, help me ID it!

Last week while in Saugatuck, Michigan, I found this wood in a dumpster next to the house were staying in. It is very heavy and tight grained. Some of the pieces I had to leave were weathered gray on one side. The first photo is plain and the second has been wiped with a damp cloth. Would this be teak?

    P.S. Definately not walnut

It looks like a tropical hardwood to me. Could be teak.

Scratch the surface a little. If it smells like crap, it's IPE.

Through a rigorous investigation using the power of deduction and reasoning I've come to the following conclusion for that object you found in a dumpster; it is trash.

              Just kidding; I'd say teak.
