    19 Years ago Today....

I married the only woman able to put up with me. Two sons and 19 years later, she still puts up with me

19 years ago, it was 104 F. Inside the reception hall. My bride spent about half the reception standing over an AC vent in her wedding dress. That's one of the few times I ever wished I was wearing a skirt!

We celebrated today by going to the BORG for mulch and more flowers (I guess they're like clamps; you can never have enough) in the morning, and we're going to the movies in about half an hour.

    Congratulations!!

When you mentioned your wife standing over the vent, I'm picturing Marilyn Monroe's famous picture.

19 years means you both did something right. Congrats to both of you on the success. Too bad there isn't more of that today.

Congratulations.....and tell your wife I know how she felt at the reception. When Mark and I got married 12 years ago it was one of the hottest days in April and I was standing over the AC vents at our reception. But I also had some young boys who thought it was funny to put their hands in the ice sculpture that we had there and then run up behind me and stick them on my back where it was open (by design, not because I was too hot)

Hope that you enjoyed the movie and hope that you have many more years

Sorry, it was a floor-length dress with hoops. It did inflate like a balloon, though.

Many thanks for all the good wishes. Yes, she's a keeper--I'm not so sure I am
