I hate moving!

Well, the wife and I finally got finished moving over the weekend to our brand new house. It was she and I, a U-haul, 2 furniture dollies and a hand truck. Thankfully we only had to move a couple of blocks around the corner (we were renting and loved the neighborhood so we decided to buy).

Everything was going smoothly until I tried to load up my TS3650.. The ramp for the U-haul was too narrow to fit the wheels of the Herc-U-Lift. I tried to place a wide board on the hand truck and attempt to dolly it up on the truck.. no go! I've got a few muscles, but I'm no weightlifter!

Long story shorter.. My wife and I took a stroll down the road pushing a 300pound table saw. Thankfully the streets at the development are nice smooth concrete so there was little vibration to knock things out of alignment. However, I will be going over the alignment again just to be sure. I sure wish I'd remembered the camera, it was a sight to see for sure.

For the next few weekends (after my honey-do's) I'll be setting up the garage as my new shop. I'm stoked that I can permanently attach things and generally do what I want to the garage because IT'S MINE!!

I'm a 1st time homeowner, so this is the greatest thing ever!

Go BUCKEYES! is right! Born and raised in Columbus (actually grew up in Grove City or Grovetucky as we called it back then). The garage is 18'x22' I believe and I've messed around with a few of those shop layout tools. I'm just starting my tool collection and I'm sure I'll be looking to y'all (or is that y'uns in Ahia speak?) for some suggestions.

Yeah, whats the old saying; "If you don't know what to do with your money, just buy a house!". All kidding aside, you won't be sorry, owning a home is one of the greatest feelings, just after the birth of your first born and getting married.
