    Kites

I watched this a few times, and each time I'm still awed by the guy's talent (that's the only word I can come up with to describe it). I can't even get one dinky kite to stay afloat for more than 5 seconds.

Awe. . WOW. . . Superlatives are the only way to describe that video. The music was an ideal choice!

When I was a kid I made kites that flew better than the ones from the hobby store. This guy is some kind of world champion or something. Music was great too. Made me sleepy.

        Wow...Really Awesome
I will show it to my kids
Nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that! -Rocky Balboa-

I used to fly kites a lot - nothing that good and I met him at a festival once. Nice guy.

Funny story - I got a chance once to fly with a world-champion stunt kite team. The setup was basically follow the leader. I was 2nd in line. They kept the formations simple but their kites still tracked much more smoothly than mine. Anyhoo, the guys following me would copy every little zig and zag and other correction that I put in the routine.

WOW!!!! My questions are how did he control THREE kites?!! Looks like one was strapped to his leg. How did he keep the lines from crossing??!! I remember flying many kites / styles as a kid, made most myself. What I saw I never would even have dreamed was possible.

Rick, the third kite is actually attached to his waist. The lines do cross but you can still fly just fine. I've done team flying twice (not very well) but on some of the formations the lines cross. You just have to count your turns so you can get them uncrossed.
