You guys are no fun!
Center scribe that works on up to 1 1/2" wood and also the lines on one post are pencil guide at 1/2, 3/4 and 1 inch for marking dado depths or for checking hole depth.

You can also tap the scribe with a hammer to punch a pilot for a dowel hole...
