            My kid haves one of those, his birthday present.
            He uses it all the time, and is nice to know that batteries will be never needed

              My first guess was a headlight/flashlight for a bike.

              But I know they have similar shaped winders now too.

                Hoakie got it right. That little flashlight is my wife's favorite. Every year she buys flashlights for the hurricane season, but now has started with these. They are bright for their size and a great idea.
