    Speaking of birthdays....

I am going to my hometown of Caldwell, Ohio this weekend for my grandmothers 101st birthday. My mom who is 80 is putting together a little party for her and we are expecting close to 250 relatives to show up(she had one brother who had 10 kids). My grandmother had 11 kids, has 55 grand children and 30 great grand children.

Also my youngest daughter will be 13 on Sunday, so it will be nice to get a family portrait with 4 generations present.

Neat! Good idea about the get-together.

But at 101 I'd have thought there was a distinct possibility of her seeing a fifth generation infant too. That would be really cool!

Btw, this is unsolicited but FWIW, you could gift her with a 5 or 10 year planning diary. She might love the idea .

The fifth generation better not be coming along too soon. My oldest is only 16 and I am not ready for that....eeek

I love the planner idea. I will have to stop and get her one today before I leave. Thanks for the idea.

I know the feeling of having a grand mother, actually great grandmother who is over a 100...actually she is 103 as of April. We have 5 generations of women in the family...

There is great grandma, then my grandmother who is in her 70's, then my mother mid 50's, then me 30 something, and then my daughter who is 11..At her 100th birthday party we had a lot of people there but not 250...here is a picture of my great grandmother with my kids..
