    Millermatic 135 Good Deal?

I don't know too much about welders except that Lincoln and Miller are two reputable brands. Kinda in the market for a mig welder and haven't done too much research yet but happened to stumble across this

    http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/tls/346295321.html

If it's legit it seems like a smokin deal. A millermatic 135 for $300 or a 145 for $400? Should I be jumping all over this or is it nothing to get too excited about? Don't these usually sell for close to a $1000 or is there more to it in terms of options and stuff. Thanks.

that's a good deal, they usually sell in the $500-600 range.

What are you planning on welding?

Thanks Tom, for some reason I thought they were more expensive. Glad I asked.

What am I planning to weld? Nothing specific in mind but I'm sure I would be able to come up with a few projects.
