Its 56.3 here in East Anchorage. Truly shirt-sleeve weather.

Huge difference from last Saturday here. Last week went from the low 60's to low 70's with lots of sun and low humidity...absolutey gorgeous May weather that was invigorating and thoroughly enjoyable. These last few days have felt like early August heat ...mid 80's to low 90's and too da$@ humid! I hate it and find it incredibly oppressive. The worst part is that I have no say in the matter...regardless of how much I complain, nothing changes as a result except for my wife's tolerance of my complaining!
Happiness is sort of like wetting your pants....everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.

Bah. Call me when it hits 90%. Heck, call me when it hits 80%.

Dad and I were plumbing the DC system in the shop today ... SURE made me wish I'd been ambitious enough to install the AC unit before we started

Just got back from a week at Myrtle Beach. There was a nice breeze blowing off the ocean all week. It was relaxing.

I was in the attic today around noon. Only 88 degrees. Right now it's about 103. Probably the hottest it's been so far this year. Last year I don't think it went past 110, and this is Louisiana. Metal roofing beats asphalt shingles many ways.

                            Just got back from PA

We took a weekend trip to ride bicycle tails near Franklin PA. 26 miles on the Sandy creek trail Sat and 28 miles on the Applician River trail this morning. Yes, it was a little damp but no rain. Wonderfull area.
