There are the homeless, then there is...

this type of homeless - by design :

    http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortu...5482/index.htm

5 pages long but well written, and gets better by page 4 & 5.

One of those many 'management consultants', but definitely not run-of-the-mill : not when he's charging $20,000 a day !

I'd be envious of his money, if his lifestyle did not scare me off - always (perpetually) on the move, doesn't have a home/house/apartment at all...??

Very interesting article. The guy is a work fanatic that probably enjoys his lifestyle. Seems out of whack to those with a 9-5. He probably relaxes when boarding planes.

Thanks for posting, that's a very interesting read ... I had heard about this guy a few years back ... have passed this article around the office to the others here.

It must make for a very lonely existance though ... and no real time of your own .... definately not something normal for sure.

Bet he's got a lot of frequent flyer points or miles ...

He needs to go to Ryobi and set them straight about discontinuing the BT3.

That is interesting. I admire his fanatical dedication to his work, however, I don't think it's for me. Course I don't get tens of thousands of dollars a consultation either. If I were in his shoes I'd work 3 months then take the rest of the year off.

I look at it this way. He has a certain gift that he's chosen to develop, goals or not. If he's happy doing what he's doing, more power to him. Not for most of the rest of us, though.

There was a time not too long ago when I looked forward to getting on a plane - any plane. Now the only plane I really look forward to getting on is my own (4-seater).

This is the only plane I'm interested in dealing with on a daily basis:

After 20,000 bf I can upgrade to a Bedrock!
