Living, as I do only about 25 miles from the St. Lawrence River and the border with Canada I know pretty much the area you are talking about! Fortunately we haven't experienced the same kind of wind damage but all I can say is this spring has been VERY strange. After a winter that didn't start until well after Xmas, now a spring where one day its T-shirt time and the next its get out the winter jacket again. Yesterday, balmy with high 70's; now today, rain and struggling to make it to 60! Well, you got to love it here, or if you were sane would move south!
