Finewoodworking.com worth it??

I finally ordered the mag subscription, and thought that the online service was part of it...but I see it is for pay ($14.99 for subscribers). Is anyone out there using it or know if it is worth it? Is it the same content that is in the magazines, you just have access to it online (maybe good for back issue or article printing??) Thanks

Same here and found some really good stuff. Re-upped for month two and finished off what I wanted. I think now that good weather is here I will wait until colder weather sets in and I have more computer time before subscribing again.

For me it is. I find myself checking the site at least weekly. I find the videos worth the 15 bucks.

I am a web-subscriber, but not for the printed one.

I love the website. It's practically overflowing with articles, reviews, tips, etc. Nowadays it has become my first stop for finding about something, and many-a-times its the last stop - i find at least one article in its archives that fits what i am searching for. eg : I had no clue what Marquetry was, but now at least I know about it, after reading the article published in May 1995.

That their articles are in beautiful pdf format makes it (the website) a thing of joy. (Of course, when it fails, I come here to ask questions, my real, final, last stop ).

There are times I look at the print magazine in the store yearningly; there is something about a nicely turned out page on woodworking that a website does not match; but then I remember my daughters' non-existent college fund, and guiltily walk out. The website will do for me for some time.

I subscribed to the Mag and the Website last year. I let the magazine expire but will keep subscribing to the website. I just didn't get that much use from the articles in the magazine but there is a wealth of information on the website that I have found useful. It's the first place I go in search of information.

I just recently subscribed to the website after 2 years of print. Worth it for me.
Love being able to search and download all PDFs I want and need.

I ponied up for the 1 yr web-only subscription ($35?), and after a few months I feel like I've already gotten my money's worth. Searching a subject is great, especially since you get access to many years worth of back issues all at once. The video content is nice, too.

I subscribed for a month and downloaded all the PDFs. A year later, I subscribed for a month and downloaded the next year's worth of articles. I don't get the videos, but all the PDFs I have are handy to look at.
