    Hands and Knees

I just got done with the annual spring flower planting ritual, which means that I wasted a day of shop time and most certainly will cause a hard frost to result. The only upside is LOML is happy and I can relax until the fall clean up of the flower beds.

It's amazing the lengths we go to keeping them happy.

I'd like to know how you get off so easy. LOML is a gardener. I am not. It seems like I'm digging holes all year long!

I finished 5 yards of mulch yesterday... 1 to go for today. I was digging and pulling out lilacs, etc for hours yesterday. Only good news is - the end is near.

After hauling 4 1/2 loads of rock, 2 loads of mulch, 4 loads of compost, 3 loads of dirt and 40 bales of pine needles I had my yard looking good and everything blooming and then we had a late frost. I was sore for a week but now everything is caught up and I only have to cut the grass a couple times a week.

She's happy eh, I am betting she didn't ask you to hand her the shovel. LOL
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

No shovel requested, in fact she did not participate in the annual planting. I think http://www.pogo.com/home/home.do?site=pogop had her full attention.

I hope that is a result of a very localized rock slide.
