    There's another one you should mentione:

    They have an entire barn filled with quilts.

    Plus, there are woodworkers there with their goods for sale. Usually some pretty good stuff. And the food that some of the churches serve there is great.

    And there's also the argument that it shouldn't be called Dutch country (my grandfather was big on that) since it was Germans, not Dutch that settled the region, but that's another topic.

    And yes, I am from that area. I was born in Lebanon and lived in Myerstown as a kid.

      I get to "fetch & carry" on a Quilting trip! And LOML would LOVE to visit Paducha - again

      And NO - you can't have her e-mail address (AND we can't afford it). I still have to pay for the Japan trip when she returns on Sunday.

        Hey Rod, You could sell off surplus sawdust you have laying around, to fund a trip. O'h thats right right, you don't have any. :-)
