This Old House viewers - repeats

TOH is probably my favorite home improvement show, probably because I've been watching it the longest. I've been watching it on the DIY channel ever since I switched to DISH. I was happy to be able to watch the classic episodes I missed. Didn't realize they've been around that long. Anyone know why they keep repeating the same 3 projects over and over and over again?

I started watching with the second show, way back when Bob was wearing a big puffy vest. Maybe PBS doesn't want to have to pay royalties to departed hosts.
