Is it just me or is this season freaking others out?

I've been a die-hard 24 fan since the first season. But I haven't seen a single episode this season due to spending every #%@^ free minute I have on our remodeling project.
I figured I'd wait until I can get the whole season on DVD and watch it in a couple of sittings (or one marathon 24 hour sitting
). I've always thought that would be a better way to watch it anyhow, since the weekly cliff-hangers annoy/delight.
I've heard this season is especially "out there," so it'll be interesting to watch it in an uninterrupted stream. I have a feeling that plot and timing errors will be especially evident.Mike

It's gotten too 'over the top' for me! I've watched every episode and enjoyed them all but it's just gotten toooooo unbelievable! I don't think the show needs to survive, with or w/o Sutherland, it's run it's course! We don't need any more reminders of the terrorist threat!
I do agree with MIke that watching it in larger chunks is better due to the ending cliff-hangers.
Just my 2 cents worth.

I never watched "24" until a few months ago when I was sick and stuck at home, not well enough to function in any productive manner. My son popped in a DVD of "24" from the first season...
It's a good thing I was sick and didn't have to go to work, because that show is horribly addictive. (I don't normally watch TV much, BTW). I kept watching "just one more" episode into the wee hours of the night.
When I woke up in the morning, I continued watching it until I had finished watching the blasted first season. I don't dare try watching the first episode of the second season... at least not until I'm stuck at home sick again.

I hadn't really started watching it until the last few episodes last season and by the time it was done I was HOOKED. Now I start watching this season and I get a job that I have to leave part way through the show. I keep telling Mark that I hate the cliff hanger parts at the end of the show. Now I have to ask him what happened in the final part of the show.
I think we are just going to have to buy the full season DVD when it comes out.

agree
I agree with one of the Softtop 41-the show has become like the WWF.
It is so over the top, I don't think it will survive much longer!Comment
