My Neighbor Stopped By

My wife just called and the neighbor stopped by with some beer and thanks. I was outside this weekend and saw a guy walking around the outside of their house while they were gone. I'd seen him over there visiting before but this time something seemed funny. I walked over and talked to him for a bit. Things definitely didn't seem right so I mentioned it to my neighbor when he got home.

Turns out their boxer was stolen sometime Monday but the sheriff knew just who to talk to. I guess this guy had tried to buy her before.

The guy gets spotted by a nosy neighbor and still goes ahead and steals the dog? What a dope.

Good job, David. That a$$holes deserves a whuppin'. Or how about a weekend in stocks in the town square - whatever happened to that one? I'd think it would work fine in this circumstance.

Well... not quite nosy. I wouldn't have cared except for the way he was acting. He'd been there before to do some work around the house for them but this time something just seemed wrong.

Good job. Our neighbors keep an eye on our place, and we keep an eye on theirs when needed. Last week, he called me at 1:30 A.M. to let me know the garage door was open. I'm glad he stays up longer than we do. Good neighbors are worth their weight in gold!
