    Lost my Dad this morning...

At 1:27 AM, Monday, March 12, 2007 - my father passed away. He was injured in a tree-trimming accident yesterday afternoon and was paralyzed from the neck down. The damage to his neck was so severe that he would have been on a ventilator for the rest of his life. In respect for his previously stated wishes for “no heroics and no tubes” and his “eyeblink” communications with the hospital chaplain and his doctor, he was made comfortable and life support was removed. All of his immediate family was with him as he left this earth to be with our Heavenly Father.

For all intents and purposes my Dad “went out with his boots on” as he fervently desired.

Lloyd Young McCray – you will be greatly missed.

Your prayers for our family greatly appreciated.

    Scott
