Still the Knight in Shinning Amour

This morning LOML and I were shopping for groceries and the local WINCO. We were in the produce section and I was waiting at the end of an isle for LOML to make her selection (I push the cart), when I noticed an older Hispanic gentleman talking to her. I continued look at the Shop Notes I had picked up. A few minuets later he was still talking to her and I could tell she was starting to get uncomfortable. I let it go a little longer as I was enjoying watching the 60 year old women blush. Finally I stood up straight and picked up package of something from the cart and walked over to them with my old work jacket with the CHP emblem showing, I asked her if this is what she wanted me to get and she said no I will show you and took off down the isle. The gentlemen took off the other direction. She asked me how come it took so long to help her and told her I was enjoying the show and watching her face turn red. He was hitting on her but nothing mean, dirty or dangerous just making her uncomfortable with the attention. She thanked me for coming to her rescue and said I gained points. This guy was a very nice looking, clean, almost distinguished looking gentlemen who probably didn't realize her age and how long she had been married (41yrs last Monday) I am still chuckling over it and she is flipping me off when I say something about it. Fun Fun Fun and I would never let anything happen to her while I am around.

That's a nice Friday story Tom, thanks for sharing it. It gives us wedd'n newbies (married only 9 yrs) something to look forward to.

For fun, I always introduce my wife:"and this is my first wife B...". I usually get a slap for it but it's worth a chuckle.. I've only been married once..

So far! With a line like that, you may get another opportunity sooner than you'd like.

Glad the LOYL likes it when you rescue her. When we were still engaged, LOML managed a gym. She had a guy come on to her pretty aggressively but got mad at me when I stepped in. I dunno - maybe I said the wrong thing.
