    Late night visitors

I’ve been working some wacky shift lately and last night I stumble home around 4:00 am and heard some crunchin and munchin coming from the neibours yard. Watched a cow and calf moose for about ten minutes or so all the time wondering if I had time to run into the house for the camera … Yup … I had time.

Last fall the Karen and I planted an artic willow in the front yard; it was doing well until these guys showed up and shortened in considerably.

A friend of mine live in Post Falls, Idaho. He has them in his yard all the time, Last fall he had a Bull Moosewalking around the neighborhood. The live up against the forest and a lot of deer and moose come around. I was startled when one morning I got up opened the blinds while visiting him and was looking at a family of Elk.
