As Much as I Dislike Change

I have for the most part always been opposed to the creation of numerous sub forums. Since I noted many have been suggested of late I thought I would start a topic about one that I would like to see. Under the heading Articles I would like to see a section (sub forum) Just Jigs. Jigs that are not expressly for the BT3x saws really do not fit in any of the three current sub-topics. In this instance I feel another sub-section would make searching easier, not currently, but for sure in the future. Look at all the brillant jig makers around this forum and you can see that if we started posting jigs the Jigs for BT3's would quickly become burried and hard to find, that is once Sam transfers all of the old section over into this new format. JMHO!

I agree - Ithink there should be a separate sub-forum for jigs also. However, I think it should be extended to jigs and fences, bomber miter sleds, etc.

FWIW, I think in general it's a great idea ... definitely would make locating areas of interest easier than searching though tons of posts ...

My suggestion for a sub group I'd like to see would be a section for only bt3xxx "Modifications" or anything related to pimping out your BT3X .....

Gotta agree. Nothing but jigs. Good thinking, Mark.

Good idea. Call it "Jigs And Fixtures" and then it'll cover anything and everything.

Me three! More than once I've had trouble deciding where to post this kind of stuff. "Jigs and Fixtures" would capture it nicely, IMO.

It would have to be clear where to post jigs and fixtures specifically designed for the BT3....

                  Regards,
                  Tom

The subject kinda reminds me of Sam's first site and the articles section on here. I know that taking care of that section takes time, so I agree that a sub forum containing jigs and fixtures would be good to have. Good suggestion BW.

I agree, I think it's a good idea. It would be a natural fit along with everything else.
