Update on wiring
Got the damaged wire replace today. Took 3 hours to get new wire run and connected and every thing works and is safe. After I finished that project, I started to clean up the wiring in the wall that was there from the previous owner. He had made a room inside the garage with a front and back wall inside the garage door and the wall between the house and garage. Evidently he had wiring in all the walls for his train layout. When he sold the place he had to remove the two wall and all the wiring. When he did he left a bunch of wire all terminated in this junction box on the outside wall of the garage. I had used some of it to power receptacles on my the workbench. Now after the workbench was removed I need to reconnect some of the receptacle lower on wall which I did but ended up with some extra wiring and I couldn't figure what is was for. After pulling more drywall down I found a hidden junction box with more wire. I finally figured out where it all went and disconnected and removed all excess wire form the wall and Circuit breaker panel. Now that all the wiring is safe and functional I will have to replace the drywall. It will take about a sheet and a half of drywall to put it all back together. So that will be the next and last project getting the garage back into shape. I will now have two dedicated circuits for the BT3, Jointer, and Miter Saw. I have taken picture of the wall and the wiring like I did when I built the shop so I and any new owner will know where the wires are. Learned a couple of good lessons with the project.
