I was just at the Atlanta Woodworker's Show. I got there late and sort of had to rush through. While there, I quickly passed a booth where a guy was featuring some sort of yellow ruler looking thingy that he claimed would revolutionize the way you measure and mark things. I was intrigued, but quickly moved past as I was on a mission to find great "end of show" deals. My intention was to come back to this booth afterwards.
After I bought a bunch of JET's new parallel clamps, I left the show and hauled the clamps to my car. It was then I realized I had forgotten to visit that booth with the revolutionary marking/measuring tool. Now I have no idea what it was called or how it works.
I do rememeber thinking it was probably to complex for most people, especially those who don't realize there's easier ways of measuring. The guy was showing how to hang pictures dead on, each time, everytime. Also he might of said "you won't need to use numbers anymore!" or something of the sort.
Does anyone know what this tool is? I'm a sucker for things like that. I've gotta have one.
