Somebody Always Has it Worse

Well last night the fridge water line sprung a slow leak, my router (computer) went belly up (I think it cooked itself) and of course the counters are screwed up.

This morning my brother called. I went out to his house to look things over for him. The water cut off while LOHL was in the shower this AM) and he was taking her in for an MRI on her knee on account of her falling while ice skating on Sunday. I think his water line froze up.

So... had to pay for a new router today and a new fitting for the fridge line but at least I am not in the hospital with my wife or having to take my showers at the firehouse.

Sounds like Irish luck to me. That's when you step in dog **** but at least you weren't wearing your good shoes.

David, your heading says it all. It thas taken me years to appreciate all that I have, whether earned, learned or what people have shared with me.

My wife and I may "vent" about all the little things, and maybe "whine" about larger bumps in life, but we fully understand what you said, "Somebody always has it worse"

David, when you look at things like that, it makes life a whole lot easier, even when things don't go your way. There's always someone worse off, that's a given.
