Congratulation you two are a rarity. LOML and I are coming up on our 41st, longer that even my parents were married, It is a long time, but time has flown past. We had some great and some real bad times but we worked hard when we need to and played when we could. I have found especially since we have retired that a lot of things that used to bug us about each other are not important and we have become very comfortable with ourselves and each other.
We each have our space and our shared space and activities, The pressures on our marriage that were there while working and raising a family are no longer there and we enjoy each other and our family more than ever.

          CONGRATULATIONS! And Whew!

Not yet a third of that figure, so am in awe of you (and yours). Please convey congrats from this forum to her too.

So come clean now : if you could compare your 'level of happiness', are you happier today, or were you a happier bridegroom? Sorry if that puts you on the spot...but that was the intent

And you know what, we need to see a snap of your wedding day, to complete the picture, you know? Any handy?

            Congratulations Joe and spouse.

LOML and I are approaching 17 years now... seems like yesterday till I look at the photos of myself and how young I was.

Congrats on the success. You're just a kid though. We'll be having our 50th in December, if the Lord's willing.

Comin up on 34 this June. Congrats to you folks!! Your title about 'marital bliss' reminds me of a couple who were close friends of the family while I was growing up. I recall that on their 25th Jim bought Chet a bracelet with a inscription which was misspelled saying, "For 25 years of martial bliss". We all had a god laugh and they decided to keep it as it was. Nice folks.
