T-Nuts.com is BACK!

Yep, The Nut tree is blooming again and soon, very soon, you can grab yourself a pack of nuts (or whatever) from T-nuts.com once again. As of Saturday morning, the T-Nuts site is on a new server and under new ownership. No longer will I be famous for my nuts. They are now Rob's nuts and he had a truckload of them safely packed away as he drives up I-5 toward Sacramento at this very moment. Now Robert Spicer gets to have everyone ask him for his nuts and wonder how he gets such a strange reputation so quickly! Ah, it's all good.
The site is back up, although a few modifications are yet to be made. We have a temporary SSL cert so when you go into secure mode, the domain changes slightly, but that will change soon. Also, until the credit card processing center has his account established, paypal will be the only "electronic" payment method available. The CC account should be ready soon.
As soon as the paypal system is established (hopefully before Monday), the system will not allow checkouts, but customers can log in and fill their cart, etc.
I will be helping Rob get established and make sure everything flows relatively smoothly.

Hello, all! Guess I'm officially the new Nut. Certainly didn't take long for the jokes to start, but I'm game and I knew what I was in for :-)

The inventory has been safely relocated to Sacramento. Like Jeff mentioned, still setting up the credit card processing, but that should be complete in the next few days.

And, for an opportunity to meet fellow BT3 users, shipping costs in the Sacramento area are certainly 'negotiable'.

Yes, I intend to continue to honor the BT3 discount. Why change a good thing?

I've spoken with Sam, and he's indicated that he's willing to reincorporate the T-Nuts.com link back into the partner link - just so happens it looks like we did the transition while he was redesigning things.

As for a new forum moniker, thought I would probably move away from the plain 'aiyou' (how it sounded when my younger brothers used to try to say Robert)...considering new options and will take suggestions. So far, candidates are:
'Aiyou Nuts' (courtesy of Jeff) and
'T-Nut Bob' or 'Grab My T-Nuts' from Sam

Just tried to get into the t-nuts.com website and some website came up called bigdaddy.com saying something to the effect that "the domain name t-nuts.com had expired 2/24/07 and was either pending renewel or deletion"
Could you explain please, Bob?
