    A Blast From the Past

Made a quick run to the grocery tonight and ran into someone I haven't seen in almost 15 years. I met her at a party and we hit it off. Went on one date and made plans for another. She called the day before to cancel - her SIL's dad had died and she was going out of town.

When she got back in town she called, we made more plans, she called the day before to cancel because her cousin's mom was in a very bad car accident and died.

When she got back in town she called, we saw each other again, then made plans and the next day she called to cancel because her grandfather died.

I didn't see her again after that.

Might have been for the better at the rate people die around her

No, better off away from her. Never know how infectious that thing is - not too big a jump from family to boyfriend...

You should call her and tell her you died, and you weren't there when it happened.

Reminds me of the mushroom salesman, who had 3 wives die of mushroom poisioning. When asked if his forth wife also died of mushroom poisioning, he replied, "She didn't like mushrooms, she died of a broken neck"
