    Granddaughter rave

I just have to brag on my just-turned-4 granddaughter.
Her daddy is a rancher and lives to hunt and fish. he had a .223 cut down and modifide just for her, built a deer blind just her size, and then went out evening before last with her.
She spotted a deer (10-point buck), sighted it in and shot it. Got it with a clean shot just behind the shoulder.
    She turned 4 in September!

Could life get any better? Did daddy have to buy bigger shirts for the puffed out chest?

Pretty neat for a 4 year old ... but I guess some things only happen in Texas.

Yeah, grandkids are great aren't they. And just for you folks back East. We have to learn to shoot early in Texas. All the Indians and all.

                puffed out chest tommorrow
Hopefully, she never makes it to a rave! (underage, drug ridden hidden party)
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

Here is a photo, sorry I took so long, but was not on the 'puter yesterday.
As for the daddy - I think that everyone on the Abilene Fire Department has seen the pictures at least twice, maybe more...!

Hope this works, I followed Rod Kirby's post on how to get a photo into a post.

Very cute kid. It gives me an idea though... since she shoots that well now her daddy doesn't have to worry when she's a teenager. All he has to do is show the boyfriends the picture and tell 'em what happens when you make her mad.

That is great! It should be a record for someone that age to shoot a deer.
