    The Wood whisperer

    Ok,

    This guy kicks some #$&.

    http://marcswoodcreations.com/thewoodwhisperer/

He is creating PodCasts on all things Woodworking. He is a hip generation X type that is nothing like wood deity Norm.

I watched all his videos to date and he really makes WW interesting. Although he has some corny stuff that he does, he really knows his stuff and I already want to build his torsion table he built.

I specially like the episode where he introduces you to his shop and tools. He has all the toys, but he does this stuff for a living and I can see having much of what he has eventually.

Check him out - If you watch all his episodes, you will get at least an hour of informative WW knowledge.

He hasn't been around for very long (the podcasts, I mean), but I eagerly await every update he does. The thing I like is he does things with the average person in mind.

Hey- the part 2 of the cutting board is up!! See you later!

I've watched his videos for a while and they are very good. He's very natural and matter of fact. I posted his website here about a month ago, and there were very few replies. My feeling is that it is an educational and entertaining series, and many viewers may not have felt a reply was necessary. That's OK, at least they have a chance to see it.

I always bookmark instructional materials for future reference. Got 'em in folders, all filed neatly away. As a matter of fact I have one that is marked "Ray", and another marked "Niki". Got another one for other various techniques that were posted here.
