Quilting forum?

I know quite a few people here know someone who makes quilts. Is there an equivalent to BT3Central for quilters?

My sister is a very accomplished quilter, but somewhat challenged about computers and the internet. She might benefit from a location like this where she could interact with other like-minded individuals. But it would have to pretty straightforward to use and non-threatening.

quilting forum?

Don't know anything about that per say....but probably one on the web somewhere. If my wife were making quilts...I would make her and old time quilting frame like my grandmother, mom and her sisters used way back when.

I did make my wife a special stand to hold her crosstitch frame on while she
works on that....she likes it! eezlock

I think it might be for Aussies and NZealanders and expats but worth a look.
I tend not to belong to on line stuff as I would rather be stitching but I know a lot of 'girls' who enjoy this site and get lots of info from it.

I think that's sis's problem, too. She's very accomplished and feels no need whatsoever to watch a quliting program on TV, talk to strangers about it, etc.

Thanks for the tip, though, Carole. I'll pass it along to see if I can help broaden her horizon!

I don't know of any but I envy quilters for the work that they do. Marks mother is a very accomplished quilter and has put some in shows and won ribbons for them. Our quilt she made took a 3rd place in a show that she put it in. Here is a picture of the quilt and Marks mother. Its not a real good picture of the quilt but you can see most of it.
