It kind of reminds me of growing up on the farm. We did a lot of dumb stuff sometimes. We had an air compressor that we started by kicking the pulley to turn it until we had time to fix the starter motor. I wouldn't put us in his class though.

This guy will be seen on the darwin award list sooner or later....

I know we all remove safety features to make special cuts....but this guy takes the cake...No support between the blade and rip fence, two fences at once, no guard, no splitter, no anti-kickback fingers, NO SAFETY GLASSES!! No brain!

      Sometimes people amaze me...

wow, that is scary. But, I don't think the guy is that stoopid. Dumb, maybe, but not stoopid. I mean I'm not sure I could've figured out the whole prime the motor with pliers on pulley while leverage the motor upwards with a fulcrum and weight thing.

Then again, I guess being stoopid is better in some instances since I woulda just gone and bought a new saw.

oh well, to each his own, just get the little girl and dog and wife outta there!!!

I know it's all been said but my cringe point was him puting lateral pressure on the workpiece which pushes it against the blade and the fence. 'Nuf sed.

I just hope he has good insurance so he doesn't go on the public dole when he finally makes the mistake that is sure to happen.
