    scothbrite pads....

Does anyone here know if there are any scotchbrite type pads available that
would fit or could be used on a random orbit sander? just wondering if they
made such? may have an ides for using them. Would like it, if they could be used with hook and loop attachment certainly faster. eezlock

I'll tell you what I do. I cut them round the size of the sanding disk (5"). I leave the sanding disk on and just place them onto the sanding disk. Works pretty good.

I thought I'd seen them some where. Last week, I went looking for them at both Lowes and HD, didn't find anything.

I'd think they'd work just fine with the H&L pad as floor scrubbing machines have basically a H&L type pad driver that is used with pads constructed exactly as ScotchBrite pads are made. HTH.

Hrmmm I'll log into one of the vendors I use at work, they sell scotchbrite..

Scotch-Brite™ General Purpose Scour Pad No. 96

It's the original synthetic scouring pad and a performance pacesetter. Use it for everyday cleaning of most cooking utensils and equipment. Size: 6" x 9", Medium Duty. 20 pads per box, 3 boxes per case.

              Cut that puppy to fit...

Most autobody supply stores carry Scotchbrites or equivalent, there are actually three grits--a white, a pink, and a green (don't recall the order), but they come in sizes from about 2x3 to about 8x12, or at least used to when I was selling the stuff. Don't recall of any that came in round form then, but that's been a few years ago, and things have changed a mite since then.
