Didn't know which would be the best place to post this, so I will start here.
Remember to think about your pets when you do home renovations or large repairs. Here is my experieince from this past week.
LOML decided she would like to have hardwood floors in the family room to match the hardwood in the entry way and kitchen. It is Bruce 3/4 inch hardwood. Just needed to pull up the carpet, padding and a million staples
The first evening I got started putting down the floor, our miniature schnauzer, Tucker, pretty much glued himself to our daughter because of the noise, and maybe even the vibrations from the pneumatic stapler and air compressor.
Second evening of work, he was even more scared. We do not have a fenced in yard or Invisible Fence. Since it is has been unseasonably warm in the Cincinnat area, my wife decided to put Tucker's bed in our van, which is parked in the garage. Garage door closed, van door open, Tucker promptly fell asleep.
Saturday morning when I started to make noise, Tucker ran to the back door which leads to the garage. We let him out and he went straight into the van.
have fun and be safe

Pat
No clue why, had him since a pup, no guns around, etc. Can't beleive a sound is projecting towards him differently.
