          I noticed in the article that her son picked up the idea from the Marines. Kind of reinforces an unofficial saying..."We have done so much for so long with so little, that we can now do anything with nothing at all!"

                  Silly String

                  Didn't know this news item would go national; but am proud to say the stuff is made close to home. Watertown, NY about 40 miles away is where its made; by the same company that makes those little "pine tree" car air freshners. Also (Watertown) being the home base of the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum. Being an ex-GI I am not surprised how resourcefull our troops are; sure could have used some of that stuff in Viet Nam!

                          This was in the local paper this morning. It also stated that they use tampons for a wound until medical help arrives and condoms to cover end of rifle barrels.
