    HF Rotary Hammer???

Does anyone know any pro / cons on the Harbor Freight Rotary Hammer number 41983. For $40 seems cheap for a Rotary Hammer Drill, it cost that to rent one. Link below.

I have one it has worked fine for me so far on a dozen or so projects. So I'd say the pro is the price.

I think that is the one I picked up earlier this year. I got it on sale for $30. The depth gauge ain't worth $#^& in my opinion, but all I've needed it for was drilling pilot holes in the block building that is my shop. I put in all new wiring and like you, decided it would be cheaper to buy this as a throw away than to rent. Other than the depth gauge, I've been pleased with it the couple of times I've used it. Did the job with no problems. Just make sure to wear ear protection if using it on block walls. It gets REAL LOUD real quick.

Sorry about that, not sure how I missed the "." since I did a cut & paste. For some reason yours didn't work. Here is the full / correct link (I hope).

Wow I feel stupid now. I copied and pasted the shortened version instead of the actual link.

Yes, that one works for me too .
