Winter??? What is this W i n t e r? Pat

-40 with windchill . That is winter and what we've been subjected to here until today. Only -10C today. For those of you who don't know -40 is -40 in both scales.
To all you on the eastern seaboard...YOU SUCK!!!. Summer in November, yuck. Last year we were still golfing on November 20th. This year we're breaking low temp records.

I'm just glad I don't live in Vancouver anymore. Give me cold and snow anyday over rain and wet snow.

As far as the forum, I tell everyone I know that has any interest about the site.

This is a friendly site. I discovered it when I was researching a table saw and wanting to learn about woodworking. After being flamed on Woodnet (not a big deal; I have asbestos boxers) I came here at it was a polar opposite to the attitude I got there.

Like a lot of people, the forum influenced my eventual choice of table saw. I can't believe the patient answers I've gotten to some incredibly newbie questions. Someday I hope I'll be able to give advice as well as take it.

Here in St. Louis we're having rain and sleet then freezing rain and snow this evening. I'm sitting in my classroom right now with my 4th hour class waiting for the early dismissal due to weather. Thank goodness it's a well-behaved group!

Then it's off to the shop to finish my tables.....assuming the traffic lets me get there in a reasonable amount of time....

The weather here sure messed up deer season this week. I was putting drives on wearing a tshirt and a thin orange vest (yes I had pants on before someone asks )
