    Snow!

Left the house this morning and it was snowing. Well, it was flurries trying real hard to become an actual snowfall. Also ground is too warm for anything to stick but still, this is very early for us to be seeing anything close to winter weather.

Particularly considering the tropical weather last week!

      Its time for snow.

Tomorrow is our annual day of snow plow installing on the work trucks. We put the V-plows on the F250s before turkey day vacation and they stay on untill spring.

I'm never ready for the white stuff. It's supposed to be around 60 degrees on Thanksgiving, but I guess I should get the snow blower out to make sure it fires up. If I don't, I'm liable to have to shovel, and that wouldn't be good.

          Ed,

O'Brien's Corollary to Murphy's Law says the more lengths you go to in preparation for a weather event the more certain you are not to have that weather. And vice versa. So by prepping your snow blower now you will probably not see snow all winter.

We've had snow for over a month already up here. Close to a foot on the ground now.

Nice way of putting it. I was just going to say I'm laughing my head off about it! But decided that would be too rude to say.

Not sure about PA but our area (West Central Ohio) is calling for a mild winter, temp and precipitation. Looks like the Cold and Snow is going south for the winter.

That may be, but it didn't stop my flight to Ohare from getting cancelled two Fridays ago, due to "thundersnow". It was the last flight on a Friday night, then out again on Monday morning.

                  It was a short weekend.

No snow but yesterday we had a "H" of a thunderstorm with major hail.

Heh. Temperatures have actually gone up a couple degrees so it has been raining the last 2 days. By the time it gets to you it just might be snow.

We had 1.25" of rain overnight.... the temp is 36. Man was that close for a Thanksgiving day snow storm.
