    No, I'm not dead...

Hi gang. I dropped off of BT3Central for awhile after adopting a baby boy in July. Things have been very busy with work not to mention managing the wife 7 year old and a now 4 month old. Needless to say not any time for woodworking right now. I have received emails from a few of you asking if I was OK. Thanks for thinking of me and I will try to get on more regularly.

Nice to see the community is alive and well!

Glad to hear your not dead. Taking care of kids is not easy!! With kids it always seems like it's something. Enjoy them now before they grow up to become teenagers!!

Welcome back Scott. I can understand what is keeping you busy. The kids have to come first.

Welcome back Scott. I know the feeling of taking care of the kids. My shop time is 0 now that I have Thomas.

And I was thinking about contacting the wife to make an offer on your tools!

Just thinking about it? I thought you were the reason his wife joined to say thanks for the $$$$$$ and she was off to shop.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

You think you're busy now? Wait'll they hit early teens and have a real social life, school activities, jobs (jobs?), etc.

Taking care of the kids is a full time job. Glad to hear that was the cause of your absense.

Having kids changes EVERYTHING!!! One of the best quotes I had was from a friend whose two kids were now in college. I asked him when my little girl was born what stages he liked the best and which ones he didn't like. His answer was that he liked every one !!!! My buddy was spot in in his remarks so have fun, do your best, and the new buzz is if they start getting wild on you is "do you want to think about it for a while" .Parenthood is a the best there is ....
