Cardinals win in 4 (you read it right, future trivia)

Well, I heard the screams last night (ears still ringing). The Cardinals, win the series, in game four. YES I DID say FOUR. They played 5 games, but 4 was rained out, and you had to use game 4 tickets, AFTER game 5.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

Weaver was great last night. Amazing how he came back from a gentle slide with the Dodgers and more precipitous one with the Angels. You'd never know it, though, the way he's pitched for the Cards.

As well as the Redbirds played, though, you have to say the Tigers pretty much gave the series away. Their play was sloppy from the beginning and the just couldn't get the bats going to overcome it.

Congrtulations to the St. Louis Cardinals, World Champs!

Same here - congrats to St. Louis!! Detroit pitchers literally "threw" the World Series away! Not by their pitching but by their fielding and throwing errors - it was just terrible. I've never seen so many fielding errors by pitchers - ever! It was just unbelievable.

I think for that very reason alone, the better team won the Series and deserve to be the 'champs'! The Tigers have a very young pitching staff though(just teach them to field) and I'm sure they'll be back.
