    Teams I follow, in order:
    Iowa Hawkeyes (Football only)
    Chicago Bears
    Chicago Whitesox
    Chicago Cubs

As usual, if the Hawks choke, I can count on Da Bears to make football interesting for me... unfortunately, I had to work thru the game last night... but it sounds like they got L-U-C-K-Y... but a win is a win. I'd sure like to see 'em in another End of the Season Big professional championship game ('cause the NFL owns all rights to say, print, think, write, that "S" word, and I don't wanna get Sam in trouble).

I respectfully disagree. The Bears DID NOT win that game last night, the Cardinals lost it.

I have to agree with Sam. The Cardnials lost that pure and simple.

man guys, i really thought someone here might appreciate a good defense stepping up and changing the tides...i'll mark arizona down with a loss, but dang...give the bears(the time that DIDNT quit) some credit...

I still think the Bears won it. Too much glamour and credit is given to offenses when teams win, and the D takes the blame usually for a loss. But the Bears D won that game...

And despite the Cards sitting on a lead, if they just don't turn the ball over, they win.

                  football

agreed, the defense takes the blame for a loss, but gets no glory for a victory...

eh, typical professional sports, just like MLB is all about either

                  A. a fat guy hitting a homerun ...or...
                  B. a taller fat guy throwing strikes

whatever happened to base hits and stolen bases and...sorry for the rant

i like to watch a good defensive struggle just as well if not better than some high-flying, west coast, hollywood passing- show me a running back that can lower his head and make a hole, and show me a defensive back that can blitz like its a freakin jailbreak, thats football to me...

                  just my 2 sense
