    Rescue Me

Anybody ever followed this show? I followed the Third season on FX and after the season was over, I bought season 1 & 2 DVD set and watched it, I am hooked and cannot wait for season 4.. This show is AMAZING!!

I highly recommend it specially if you are or were a firefighter..

a great fan myself (though far from a firefighter). i too got hooked casually when surfing aimlessly sometime middle of the 2nd season (was one of those brief but arresting 'adult' scenes that caught my eye )

i have always held that that just dysfunctional families/relationships are not enough for good TV; you need a realistic setting, like here (despite the artistic licence they regularly indulge in).

anyway, Dennis Leary is a revelation here. he's a major force behind the scenes too, particularly those stunning season finales.

but what i really love is the title score by Von Bondies (Come On, Come On).

      rescue me rocks

we love rescue me at my place...have yet to see the first season tho...watched seasons 2&3 on FX...its a great show, but it't not really something i would classify as 'family' entertainment...its a little coarse..
