    Presidential Speach

Well, if you guys can post about "Bumper Nuts"…

Read it all before you get pissed at me

WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT TO TURN ON THE TV AND HEAR ANY U.S. PRESIDENT, DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN, GIVE THE FOLLOWING SPEECH?

God bless America. Thank you and good night.
If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you are reading it in English, thank a soldier.

Bruce, I love ya man, but this one is laced with dynamite. The views are extreme and therefore taboo. I think it's just a "what if" scenario about isolationists politics. The only possible outcome of a discussion around this would be biased and or political.
You can see that this has offended some members and that should be avoided whenever possible.
One clue on whether a post is proper, if you have to state that it is bipartisan, it's probably best left unsaid here.
    Thanks, Lee.

Some of these things I'd like to see happen. Some, not so much. The Alaskan oil for example... not enough there.

Lots of folks on list one would be Arabic. But, I wonder if they should really be on that list... with friends like them....

    BTW, it's speech...

I find as I get older, my views are more moderate.

I would however, like to have a president stand up and speak so articulately.

I neither believe this is funny nor appropriate for this forum.

I agree with the part about bringing the boys home.

The Iraqis can shoot at each other for awhile. Just like the old days, when Iraq fought Iran and we sat on the sidelines and cheered.
