Oh man. That turned me into and absolute wreck! Now that I have recomposed myself, thank you Mater for sharing. Without the video I would have found the story hard to believe.

Mater that is one of the most amazing stories that I have read, or watched in a long time. Alone the story had me in tears, but along with the video I am still sitting here wiping tears away.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING THAT....makes some of the things that have happened seem better.

I'm not sure who I think is more amazing, the dad or the son.

Thanks for sharing that one, Ken. Good thing I'm at home; I can actually hug my kids! I should probably call my dad, too...

I saw a story on the new about those 2 awsome people. Gave me tears then and did now the story. The human spirit is truly amazing.

I read this article earlier today, and with the tears and emotions, was unable to think clearly enough to formulate a proper reply to the amazing story of these two people.

I'm still speechless to see this man, and his son, two people that truly get what some of us forget, what it truly means to live life, and to love unconditionally.

Thanks Mater, I (like most of us I assume) thank you for this reminder.

It was very moving for me also. Hey Scott, that would have been a great title for this thread.

Thanks, I had a niece that was born with similar problems. The story touched me deeply, thanks for sharing it.
