I must have checked every 2-3 hours over the weekend. The good news is that I managed to make some sawdust and draw up a couple projects in SketchUp during the withdrawl.

Sure glad you are back safe & sound. Hiking in that part of the country is really a blast..soo bueatiful. Like everyone else I was having "kittens" when I could'nt get to my site. But now all is good and great in the world of cyberspace.

Glad to hear that you're OK! I too was having withdrawls, and didn't realize how much I came here until it was gone. I guess you did the take-away and it made everyone take notice of what they had! haha.

I have wonderful memories of hiking that portion of the trail a few years ago. Beautiful country, esp. this time of the year.

BTW, how did Blood Mountain get its name? Kind of an unsettling place to set up camp, isn't it??

I haven't been here in ages! I got a hankerin' to come visit... Especially when I visited the Ryobi tools forum and saw that our saw was being/had been discontinued.

Sure enuf, I come to visit and the site is down...

Somebody asked about BT3Central on woodnet, and got the ususal response... "probably had the same life span as the saw." I was afraid it might be true.. Fortunately, Jim Frye over at Ryobitools was assuring folk it was a temporary thang. So I held my breath.

It's great to come back to a site that's still here! (and to breathe again!)

LOML says (now that she knows what it was) that i was wandering around looking like a couple of years ago, when I had this huge swelling in one of my...er..parts and i had not wanted her to know before the doctor made it go away.
