    Gone for a few days

I took vacation time last week and this week, mostly to get some R&R/Shop time. So far, so good. Took care of a few major repair jobs around the house and nearly got the jointer base and caster lifts for the BT done. All in spite of a lot quick shut-downs during much needed rain showers.

We did plan to make a run to Wichita Falls to check in on my step dad this week. Found out MOnday that my aunt's husband had passed away after a long illness. Drove to my brother's in Dallas last night for the funeral today and will be going on to WF later this afternoon. No 'puter access there so I will see ya'll on Saturday when we get back home. Gonna slip off somewhere on Friday to spend oiur 33rd alone!

Got back late last night. Took our sweet time getting home. I should be going back to WF solo in a couple of weeks. Maybe I can arrange to meet with some members in the area for coffee.

                Hey Pappy,
Holler when you're coming this way and I'll buy you a cup of coffee and one of the best donuts ever.

I knew there was at least on BT3'er in WF, just couldn't remember the name and didn't have time to set anything up in advance this trip. I'll give you a call when I head up that way again.
