    Judging from the confusion you have brought about from this question, I think that we have demonstrated the need for a professional patent/asset attorney. It may be money well spent.

    Having said that, I would not show ANYONE even a glimpse of your idea without a non-disclosure, drawn up by an attorney.

      I agree.
      You can do enough research on your own to decide to patent or not. Then an initial talk with an attorney would be very beneficial. At that time, I'm sure an experienced PA would give you enough info to sink or swim with it.
